1. Select your program
Then, prepare and gather your information to apply, consisting of:
- a 500-750 word personal statement;
- two references (academic and professional/volunteer);
- educational information (year of graduation, university and degree information);
- a resume/cv (required for the Certificate in Clinical Trials Management only)

The Application Process:
In addition to the information you've already gathered, you will need to include your university undergraduate transcripts (unofficial transcripts or academic records with course code, weight, and titles are permitted at the time of application).
Original official transcripts are required and will be requested if you receive an offer to the program. Please choose to have your official transcript sent from your institution directly to us digitally at post-degree@uwo.ca OR by regular mail to our office:

At this time, we are unfortunately unable to accept documents requiring a signature delivered by courier. Please do not have your documents sent with "signature required." While our team works remotely, we will be checking the mail for receipt of transcripts during the first week of each month.

Studied Internationally
The Application Process:
If you completed your studies outside of Canada before you submit your application to Western Continuing Studies, you will first need to:
Apply to WES Course by Course Evaluation (ICAP). Please select Western Continuing Studiesas Recipient 2: Institution when applying. DO NOT select Western University. This application must be submitted prior to applying to Western Continuing Studies.
If applicable, you may also be asked to provide:
Proof of English Proficiency: Students must meet English proficiency requirements as set by Western University Admissions. Unofficial test results will be accepted at the time of application. Original test result documents will also be required as part of the application and admission process.

Permanent Residency (if applicable) If you are a permanent resident you will submit this information electronically through the application. All information should be clear and legible on the document.

3. Submit your application
Are you ready to take the next step to launch your career? Be sure to pay:
- $100 non-refundable application fee
Note: Due to the competitive applicant pool for the post-degree diploma programs, candidates may be asked to attend a virtual admissions interview as a part of the application process.
Once you have completed an application, your status will change to 'Under Review'. Once your referees have submitted completed questionnaires, your status will change to 'Submitted', after which you can expect a decision according to the following timelines
- Western Advantage : Up to five business days after submission of a complete application
- Domestic applicants : 7-10 business days after submissions of a complete application
- International applicants: Up to two weeks after submission of a complete application (with all required documentation received)
