Bridging Program




Western University offers an alternative basis of admission to the Diploma in Pedorthics for students without a Kinesiology degree.
This comprehensive four-month online program covers the requirements necessary to proceed the Diploma in Pedorthics by offereing the following core competecencies: Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Systemic Functional Anatomy and Introduction to Athletic Injuries, preparing students who do not have a Kinesiology degree to enroll in the Diploma in Pedorthics.
To proceed to the Diploma in Pedorthics program, students must obtain 70% or higher in the course, with no single unit grade below 60% . The online Diploma in Pedorthics will begin in September, following the successful completion of the Pedorthics Bridging program.
Program Details
Admission requirements: an undergraduate degree in STEM (life Science, health science or related field) with a 0.5 degree credit anatomy course.
Applications will open on November 1, 2021 for admission into the May 2022 program.

Note: The Bridging Course is not OSAP eligible. Students may choose to pay the course fee in 2 equal installments of $625. All course fees must be paid prior to the start of the Bridging Program.
